Rory Donnelly | Creative Director

Brought up between France and England, Rory studied Architecture at Liverpool + Brighton before starting his Architectural journey in Central London, restoring and extending elegant Townhouses and Country Houses in the Home Counties.

His residential design approach, from traditional to classical to contemporary ensures the studio has no forced set style. With his many years of experience ranging from historic to new build with residential commissions involving farmhouses, townhouses, grade II listed properties, country estates, replacement dwellings and residential refurbishment + extensions to existing dwellings his work is wide and varied.

Clients often come with unusual sites and complex planning issues. they value his commitment, enthusiasm and market awareness from the early stages of site appraisal though to planning approval.

Fleur McCarten RIBA ARB | Director

Fleur has an exceptional keen eye for design and in-depth knowledge of traditional detailing and materiality to ensure that all projects are delivered with integrity and precision, alongside a real world view of budget and legislative restrictions.

As lead architect on site she is equally comfortable working with historic buildings and conversions as well as new build, ensuring her expertise and execution of the project process delivers with an impressive force.

Architectural practices maison d’Architecture and IOM Design joined forces in 2015 to form maisonIOM Architects with the founding directors having previously worked together in the mid 2000’s.
